3. Account Registration
3.1 Patient Accounts
When registering or using a patient account, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate personal and health-related information
- Keep your profile information up to date as your needs change
- Protect the confidentiality of your account password and login details
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Be fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account
3.2 Caretaker Accounts
When registering or maintaining a caretaker account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and verifiable information about your qualifications, licenses, and experience
- Submit to and pass all required background checks and credential verifications
- Keep all professional licenses, certifications, and insurance current and active
- Maintain accurate availability, service areas, and rates at all times
- Comply fully with all applicable professional standards, ethical guidelines, and laws
3.3 Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account (with or without notice) if we determine that:
- The account has violated these Terms, our policies, or applicable law
- The user has engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- False, misleading, or incomplete information was provided
- The user has harassed, threatened, or harmed other users
- Background checks, credential verification, or license status have failed or expired

Qliq Care is a technology platform that enables users to:
- Connect patients with qualified, independent caretakers
- Search, compare, and book care services
- Schedule appointments and manage care plans
- Communicate securely within the platform
- Process payments between patients and caretakers
Important Notice: Qliq Care is strictly a technology platform and marketplace. We do not employ caretakers, provide healthcare services directly, offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All care is delivered solely by independent caretakers.
4.2 No Medical Advice
Qliq Care does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or emergency services. All health-related decisions must be made in consultation with licensed healthcare professionals. Our platform is not a substitute for professional medical care or emergency response.
5. User Responsibilities
5.1 Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your health needs and conditions
- Share relevant medical history with caretakers when necessary
- Follow agreed care plans and instructions
- Treat caretakers with respect and professionalism
- Pay for services according to the agreed terms and schedule
- Maintain a safe and appropriate environment for in-home care
- Cancel or reschedule appointments in accordance with our policy
5.2 Caretaker Responsibilities
As a caretaker, you agree to:
- Deliver care services in a professional, competent, and ethical manner
- Maintain current licenses, certifications, insurance, and good standing
- Comply with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and standards
- Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Accurately document all care provided
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or emergencies promptly
- Honor scheduled appointments or provide timely notice of cancellation
- Be truthful about your qualifications, experience, and limitations
6. Booking and Payments
6.1 Booking Services
When booking through Qliq Care you agree to:
- Accept the displayed service description, duration, rate, and terms
- Bookings are confirmed only after caretaker acceptance
- Receive confirmation once the booking is accepted
- Use only the in-platform messaging for communication
6.2 Pricing and Fees
- Service rates are set by individual caretakers
- Qliq Care charges a transparent service/platform fee (shown before booking)
- Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- Rates may vary based on service type, duration, location, and caretaker experience
6.3 Payment Processing
- Payments are securely processed by trusted third-party providers
- You authorize charges to your selected payment method
- Payments are usually processed at booking or after service completion
- Caretakers receive payment (minus platform fees) after service delivery
6.4 Cancellation and Refund Policy
Patient Cancellations:
- More than 24 hours before appointment: Full refund
- 12–24 hours before: 50% refund
- Less than 12 hours before: No refund
- No-show without cancellation: No refund + possible account restrictions
Caretaker Cancellations:
- Late cancellation (<24 hours) may result in penalties or rating impact
- Repeated cancellations may lead to account review or suspension
- Emergency cancellations are reviewed case-by-case
7. Quality and Safety
7.1 Background Checks
All caretakers undergo background screening, including:
- Criminal history checks
- Identity verification
- Professional license and certification validation
- Reference checks (where applicable)
We rely on third-party services and cannot guarantee complete accuracy of all information provided by caretakers or vendors.
7.2 Rating and Review System
- Patients and caretakers may leave honest ratings and reviews after service
- Reviews must reflect actual experiences and comply with our guidelines
- We may remove content that violates policy (spam, abuse, false information)
- Ratings help maintain transparency and quality across the platform
7.3 Reporting Issues
You agree to report immediately:
- Any safety concern or risk → contact emergency services first if needed
- Quality issues, misconduct, or policy violations → to Qliq Care support
- Medical emergencies → call 911 or local emergency number immediately
- Billing or payment disputes → within 30 days of the transaction
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of Qliq Care is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes in detail how we collect, store, use, share, and protect your information. Key commitments include:

- Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the platform
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data

11.2 No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee or warrant:
- Availability of caretakers in your location or at your preferred time
- Quality, outcome, or suitability of any care services received
- Accuracy or completeness of information provided by users
- That background checks or verifications will identify every relevant issue
11.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qliq Care shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11.4 Independent Contractors
All caretakers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Qliq Care. We do not control, supervise, or direct the manner in which care services are performed. We are not responsible or liable for the acts, omissions, or quality of care provided by any caretaker.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Qliq Care, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of or access to the Services
- Your breach or violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your provision or receipt of care services
- Any content or information you submit or transmit through the platform
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to contact us at disputes@qliqcare.com to attempt good-faith resolution of the issue. We will respond and work to resolve disputes within thirty (30) days.
13.2 Arbitration Agreement
Any dispute not resolved informally shall be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration under the rules of [Arbitration Provider], except for small claims court matters or injunctive relief related to intellectual property violations.
13.3 Class Action Waiver

17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Qliq Care regarding your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements.
